METRO provides express service to Riverfest
The fare is $5 per person round-trip and $3 one-way – exact change only. Fare boxes accept coins, $1, $5, and $10 bills.
Buses begin leaving the park & ride locations at 2PM, with the last bus leaving each location at 6PM. Buses will leave as they fill up. Return trips start immediately following the fireworks as buses fill up.
Monthly passes and transfers are not valid for Riverfest Express service. Due to safety concerns coolers are not permitted on buses. Strollers, wheelchairs and soccer chairs are permitted as long as they are folded. For a complete list of rules and prohibited items, check out the rules section of this website. Remember to hold onto your ticket for your return trip home.
Accessible buses will be available on some trips, but not all buses will be lift-equipped.
All regular Metro services get you within walking distance of Riverfest. For more information or to request a Riverfest brochure, call Metro’s Telephone Information Center at 513-621-4455 weekdays from 6:30am to 6pm and Saturdays from 8am to 4pm. The Metro Telephone Information Center will be open Riverfest Sunday 8am to 4pm.

Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK)
Riverfest 2006 Service
TANK will provide special Riverfest Shuttles from three Park and Ride locations: Northern Kentucky University (NKU) Lot K, Buttermilk Park & Ride and Turfway Park Race Track in Florence. The fare for the Riverfest Shuttle is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children (age 17 and under), roundtrip, and exact fare is required. Infants in arms may ride free, as long as they do not use a seat.
Buses will begin leaving the Park & Rides at 4 p.m., with the last bus leaving each Park & Ride at 7:30 p.m. Buses will operate approximately every 20-30 minutes, depending upon passenger demand.
