According to NBC29.com, Metallica gave the school permission to make and sell "Enter Sandman" shirts, with the agreement that all the proceeds go to the Morgan Harrington Scholarship Fund. So far, sales of the shirts have raised $17,000.
Morgan Harrington was reported missing after a Metallica concert at John Paul Jones Arena in October 2009. On January 26, 2010, her body was found on an Albemarle County farm, turning a missing persons case into a homicide investigation.
