The Smashing Pumpkin's Billy Corgan is a multidimensional man - he's a rock star, a music critic, a tea connoisseur and pro-wrestling commissioner (yes, he really owns a pro-wrestling company). Now Mr. Corgan can add furniture spokesman to his extremely interesting resume.

Corgan and his Resistance Pro-Wrestlers made cameos in a Chicagoland furniture store's commercial recently to raise money for a local animal shelter. The campy ad features Corgan and the Walter E. Smithe brothers locked in a musical chairs battle. When things get tense between Corgan and one of the brothers, The Smashing Pumpkin frontman calls in his wrestlers to finish job - and hilarity ensues.

Corgan said, “Tim Smithe and his brothers presented us with the opportunity to share our brand. I’m grateful to the Smithe brothers for their $50,000 donation to PAWS, a charity that is important to me.”

In Corgan's defense he has raised over $140,000 this year alone for the aforementioned charity that benefits homeless animals in need. Obviously Corgan doesn't mind making fun of himself for a good cause so hopefully this will lead to more videos like the one below in the future.
