Ok, a little misleading, no Jason Newsted has not returned to his former band MetallicA. Rather Jason's come back out of the shadows and brought himself into the public eye. Since hurting himself after Rockstar Supernova he's shown up for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction and jammed with Metallica over a span of 4 nights for the Horsemen's XXX (30th) Celebration shows in Cali back in December of last year. Jason hasn't done much musically, he's actually had some health problems that kept him from playing much bass.
He did start painting, even sold a few pieces of his art. Finding a new love and craft in that world. But now it appears metal is bleeding again from Mr Newsted. He's opened a new website, cut a video to tell us of "HELLO" and is even selling some cool shwag along with a book showing his new world of art. Take it in, welcome Jason back into our world of HEAVY METAL.
