Guns N' Roses performed an unplugged set for Neil Young's 26th Bridge School Benefit Concert over the weekend, blasting thru 7 songs. I can say Axel's voice was VERY SQUEAKY and WINEY... not his best by far. But still an interesting view seeing this new band unplugged.
The Bridge School, which was co-founded by Young's wife Pegi, works to help people with physical and speech impairments through alternate methods of communication, including music therapy. Each year, Young, who has two handicapped sons, gathers a cross-section of performers to perform acoustically to benefit the school.
This Wednesday you can catch Axel on Jimmy Kemmel LIVE.. he'll sit down for his 1st interview in awhile, since chatting w/ THAT METAL SHOW a few years ago, and perhaps open up about the upcoming run at the HARD ROCK HOTEL GNR has coming in Vegas.
