Nirvana Performing at the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame Induction?

Nirvana Performing at the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame Induction?

Based on this Krist Novoselic tweet, they might be...

A fan asked Novoselic is it was some kind of April Fools' joke and he replied, "It's no joke. I am dusting off those riffs."

It would be the first time Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl have played any Nirvana material since Kurt Cobain's death 20 years ago. The pair and Nirvana touring guitarist Pat Smear have played together three times with Paul McCartney, doing the song "Cut Me Some Slack" from the Sound City soundtrack. It seems unlikely McCartney would sing a Nirvana song, so the most probable candidate is the man inducting the band -- ex-R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe.
