Metallica's Kirk Hammett is once again taking part in San Diego's Comic-Con. But this time he's doing his own thing.
The rocker is attending the event this weekend to promote his Kirk Von Hammett Toys. Hammett will be offering fans one of his limited edition Famous Monsters Jr. figures. He'll even be on hand Friday and Saturday to sign the little green zombie version of himself.

On Friday Kirk will also attend a special screening of the animated film "Tallica Parking Lot." Metallica bassist Rob Trujillo will join him for the presentation, which includes a question-and-answer session following the film.
Last year Hammett attended Comic-Con with his Metallica bandmates. The group appeared at the event in support of their film Metallica: Through the Never.
