Kid Rock says added ticket fees and the ban on paperless ticketing in several states makes him "embarrassed" to be a Republican.  Rock, who famously supported Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, last year just launched a tour promising 20-dollar ticket prices for all seating sections, but has run into a few stumbling blocks in his efforts to keep prices low.

Using a few choice words, the Detroit rocker blames Republican lawmakers for passing the laws that are countering his efforts.  He tells "Rolling Stone" magazine, "They already did it in New York and they're trying to do it in Michigan."  Rock says he's even called some lawmakers to try and stop it.  He also took aim at concert retailer Ticketmaster for their service charges.

Speaking on his political affiliation these days, Rock, who took some heat for coming out as a Romney supporter last year, says he's more of a Libertarian now and "isn't any bed with anybody."  Kid Rock's Rebel Soul Tour gets under way in Bristow, Virginia in June 28th with Kool & the Gang, ZZ Top and Uncle Kracker on board for select dates.
