Digital Bookmobile Making a Summer Stop Downtown

A Digital Bookmobile National Tour coming to Cincinnati will give visitors a chance to sample eBooks, audiobooks, music, and video.

The Digital Bookmobile is housed inside an 18-wheel tractor-trailer and is equipped with broadband Internet-connected PCs.

A gadget gallery-featuring Kindle, iPod touch, NOOK, Android tablet, Sony Reader, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, and more-will help visitors discover what portable devices are compatible with the Library's download service.

Visitors can also use Interactive learning stations, search the library's digital media collection, use supported mobile devices, and sample eBooks, audiobooks, music, and video.

A chance to win a NOOK e-reader, will also be available to people who attend and a limited number of ear buds will be given away.

The bookmobile will be at the Bond Hill Branch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30. The tour than moves on to Fountain Square on Wednesday, July 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
